The third Camp Widow® Australia will take place in Brisbane at the Hotel Grand Chancellor from Thursday, 10 August to Sunday, 13 August 2023.

Camp Widow Australia is supported by an incredible team of volunteers who play a vital part in the Camp Widow experience. Our volunteer team help with setting up various aspects of camp, work on the registration desk, assist presenters in workshops, work in the camp shop, assist the Camp Widow leadership team and help to ensure that everyone at camp feels welcomed and included.

With the expansion of the program in 2023, we are seeking friendly and efficient people interested in joining the volunteer team.

In 2023 we have the following volunteer opportunities for Camp Widow:

• Volunteer for a shift (approximately 4-5 hours) – as scheduled by our volunteer manager. This option would limit availability to attend workshops and social events and is better suited to those not planning to register as a camper.
• Volunteer for a day. This option means that you would not be considered a registered camper.
• Volunteer full-time (7:30am, Friday 11 August – 2pm, Sunday 13 August). This option means that you would not be considered a registered camper.
