Our gold members are actively involved in supporting First Light Widowed Association Inc. by helping us to support our community.

This could include fundraising, volunteering at events, sharing your skills, participating in our online private member's group, writing an article for our newsletter or website, raising awareness about First Light or holding a catch-up in your local area.

Gold membership provides a sense of giving back and contributing to a community that is close to your heart, while knowing you are making a difference to the lives of widowed people. Gold members can also vote at general meetings and nominate and hold committee positions. You also join our mailing list to stay up to date with all association news and events.

This membership has an annual membership fee of $100 (including GST). We use PayPal to process your initial membership fee and it will automatically renew every 12 months, or until you cancel. You can cancel this recurring payment at any time by logging into your PayPal account or by notifying us in writing to [email protected]. Please note that should you fail to pay your membership fees, your First Light gold membership will lapse and will change to community membership.

Membership to First Light isn't just for widowed people!

We welcome family and friends of widowed people along with support workers and anyone else interested in supporting young widowed people in moving through grief and rebuilding their lives.

Gold Member equates to Ordinary Member under the First Light Widowed Association Inc. constitution.
